Tap the hole using the piloted step tap. Make sure the tap is wound well through the hole.
Place the seat cutter over the shank of the tap. Using the wrench provided rotate the seat cutter to cut the countersink for the top of the insert and recondition the sparkplug seat area
Thread the Time-Sert insert into the hole using the insert driver tool until flush with the surface.
Once the insert has seated on the top flange, the insert driver tool will roll form the bottom few threads of the insert to lock it in place.
