Installation Made Simple

Key locking inserts such as Keenserts have standard ISO Metric, UNC or UNF external threads. This means that Keensert inserts don't need special tooling. They are simply installed using standard drills and taps.

  • Can be fitted by hand using a hammer as the only tool

Keensert Fitting Tool

Key locking inserts can be fitted by hand using a hammer as the only tool. A fitting tool is optional and the main advantage of using it is that it prevents the pins from bending over and misaligning during the final operation to knock them down into the parent material.

NOTE: Keensert inserts are generally supplied as Industrial Spec. grade but can be supplied in Milspec grade and with Certificates of Conformity on particular order.
