TIME-SERT® THREAD REPAIR SYSTEM

Time-Sert Thread Repair

Time-Sert is a solid bushing type thread insert for repair and OEM. It is installed into an oversized hole. The insert is locked in by expanding the bottom threads of the insert into the parent material.

Why Time-Sert is different

The bottom few internal threads of a Time-Sert are not cut to full depth.

During installation, the driver tool acts as a roll-forming tap.

It swages the parent material into those shallow threads and locks the insert in place.

Result: a solid-bodied insert that won't unwind and delivers OEM-grade thread strength.
